Pastors are God’s servants for the church.  They are to teach and lead Christian people and enable them to be faithful witnesses for God in this world.  It is important that pastors teach clearly and teach only what is in God’s Word, the Bible.  They need much wisdom to help people to understand how to apply God’s Word to their lives.

All communities need well-functioning and active churches if people are to realise that they need to turn from their sinful ways of life and trust in Christ as their saviour.  This is why it is so important for pastors to teach those churches well and to lead by example.
